"Idenitify all items" option
Hello, I wonder if we can get an option to identify all the items in our inventory at once by pressing shift+click on identification tool or something like that. Maybe there will be a window pop up asking you if you want to identify all your items, non-rare, only blues, only purples or gold ones. I vanquished many areas and when I'm back in town is really annoying identificate all items one by one, specially if your bag is full.
Thanks and share your coments please.

Reason: Added the idea of asking you what kinds of item (white/blue/purple/gold) you want to ID

honestly unless i am in cof and need to salvage i only id purps and golds, even on my char in pre unless it is armor it doesn't get identified unless it is purp, but i do think to some extent a variation of that would be a good idea

It's not really needed. Only blues, purples, and golds are worth identifying first of all, so you'll have to go sell all your whites so you don't waste identifications. Along with that, for the golds, what if they are not on the guy you want to id all your golds on (for those like me who do that). Also, what about when you're in a town and your storage is open as well, are all the items in your storage identified as well?
Too annoying to put in all the limitations and just plain not really needed.
But not a bad idea none-the-less.

Actually, in my experience, it is more cost effect to ID whites (and everything else) from Hard Mode. With a Superior ID kit it only costs 5g per ID, and you can usually get at least twice that back after IDing a white item.
I'd have to /notsign this idea however. It would be handy, I agree, but it seems like it's not really worthwhile, and it can't be that bad watching your earnings go up.

On the contrary, this would be really useful when trading unidentified gold items in bulk.Create options for the shift+click (Identify white/Identify blue/Identify purple/Identify gold) just like how weapon sets work so that wisdom title buyers won't get carpal tunnel from double clicking everything fast enough before the seller gets bored of waiting and so the sellers can wait shorter intervals in between sets of 4 bags.

IDs cost about 6g and raise the price of all items by a pretty decent amount. all items in lvl20 areas are worth IDing, and it takes forever.

always ID whites lol, you end up making more than the cost of the id kit back from Iding them.
many times i have had white items worth more to the trader than golds.
an all id would be so worth it, atm i am r4 wisdom and it was a pain iding all 2000 odd of the unids, but if there was an id all ting, it would have saved me time so i could have gone and farmed more
great idea

I have thought about this many times after a vanquish or mission when there's 30 or so items to ID. I'd even go as far as suggesting some sort of "Perfect Identification Kit" with 5? uses to ID everything in your inventory (45 slots max) for 1k and a skill point at an EOTN consumables person.
I don't know. We just need one

If (item.rarity != white) then
item.identify
xD this game is not made in java but its not a big deal to make code to not identify the whites, and its not hard too to make a check box asking what kind of items u wanted idenfityed :P

/Signed. I've been IDing white items for a long time now, and like Operative's said, it is actually more cost effective to do that for the reason I've quoted. It's only really that effective for whites from some of the mid to later stages of the game, but it does work, and I'm sure there was actually a thread on guru somewhere saying this. I can't be bothered to look for it just now, but here's the gist of it:
A basic ID kit costs a hundred gold, and allows twenty-five uses, meaning each ID you use is worth four gold. A typical white item is roughly fifty-sixty gold roughly on average. Therefore you need to increase it's value by four gold when you ID it, but often it'll increase far more than that break point meaning you've profited.
It might not seem much, but when you add it all up over a length of time including all the white items you come across in one day's PvE/farming, it's not that bad. An option like this would save a ton of time for farmers and would help to counteract loot scaling a little bit since you're getting that wee bit more bang for your buck.

I would certainly use that key option as i identify all items (including whites). I would love to cut that time consuming clicking.

I get a good portion of my vanq money from Iding whites, but yes, if I don't have to click 50 items or w/e, i'd be much happier.
